Artful Visions: Where Art Comes Alive refers to the idea that art is within the process, and it is somehow in all of us. Will you allow yourself to unlock it? Transgender day of visibility (TDOV) is dedicated to education about transgender communities and important issues facing trans people across the country. It is also a day that celebrates Transgender individuals across the country. Artists and community groups coordinate events and educational opportunities to uplift the voices and experiences of transgender and non-binary (transgender/NB) communities.
My personal contribution is “Artful Visions: Where Art Comes Alive ”; created to highlight and uplift Black and brown transgender and non-binary individuals and Allies through creative direction, photography, mixed media, fashion, food, and entertainment.
This show is to share a moment where we can be as we are and express freely. This show is about being able to just have fun.
