Citywide Poets is an after school creative writing program for teens focusing on Poetry, Open Mics, Slam Competitions, Publication, and paid leadership opportunities. Participants meet once per week with a published and/or performing artist to write new work while building community with other youth writers. Citywide Poets is free and open to all teens! Specifics:
– Weekly on Wednesdays
– 4pm to 6pm
– Starting October 18th | Ending June 19th
We will have breaks during major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)
First Meeting on September 13th will be held in the Children’s Library and subsequent meetings will be held in the Explorers Room
