Sophia Strother Lewis promotes and fosters the rich and diverse cultural arts perspective on people of African heritage.
The Justice Series, featuring Sophia Strother Lewis, will take place on March 28 from 7:00-9:00pm at the MATCH Theater. The speaker is an author, leader, playwrite and business woman. Ms. Lewis is the founder of Empowerment Driven by Knowledge (EDKC), a 501c3, non-profit, multidisplinary, cultural arts organization dedicated to producing a wide range of cultural, educational and artistic programming geared toward those affected by domestic violence/sexual abuse, rebuilding communities one family at a time, and the celebration of African Heritage within Waco and Central Texas
