Despite recent drama Cash Money makes ‘Billboard’s’ Power 100 list

Despite currently having their hands full with two separate lawsuits and their star artist trying to make a very public exit from the label, Cash Money Records executives Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Baby” Williams are still among the most powerful people in the business, according to Billboard magazine.

The music industry trade recently released its 2015 Power 100 list featuring the Williams brothers at No. 90. Though this year’s list has the pair down 40 spots from last year’s ranking, the Louisiana natives are the lone rapper/moguls to be included.

A few notables making the cut are Roc Nation CEO Jay Brown at No. 30, Epic Records executives L.A. Reid and Sylvia Rhone at No. 61, and BET head honco Debra Lee at No. 84.

Coming in at No. 1 one was Universal Music Groupchairman and CEO Lucian George.

Interestingly enough, though ranked as 2014’s most powerful couple in music, both Beyoncé and Jay Z were absent from the list.
