Teenage rapper Lil Durk seems to have joined the growing number of frustrated artists signed to Def Jam. In recent months, acts like Jadakiss and Jeezy have aired their grievances with the iconic hip-hop label. Now, Durk seems to be another in the midst of a slight dispute with Def Jam over his latest mixtape.

The rapper was expected to release his “F–kery” mixtape this week–January 7th, to be exact, but Durk tweeted that Def Jam put the brakes on the project’s release.

“DEFJAM told me not to drop a mixtape,” Durk tweeted on yesterday.

He offered no timetable for the project’s eventual release. Durk’s most recent mixtape, “Signed To the Streets,” was released back in July.

In summer 2012, Jadakiss spoke about label changes at Def Jam that he felt changed the company’s culture. A few months later, Jeezy ranted on Twitter about the label and threatened to leak his own album. Jeezy’s tirade was then co-signed by another of his label mates, Juelz Santana.

“RT @YoungJeezy: N—as @ @DefJamRecords keep playing games if you want! >> dam I Thought it was Jus Me Smh!!,” Santana re-tweeted November 19 after Jeezy’s tweet.
