James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond was accused earlier this week by convict, Dexter Isaac, of orchestrating the 1994 robbery and shooting of late rapper, Tupac Shakur. Rosemond’s lawyer has now come forward and called the accusation a “flat out lie.”

In a statement to the New York Daily News, Rosemond’s lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, challenged Isaac’s claims, saying that the convict just wants to use Rosemond as a scapegoat.

“It’s a flat out lie,” Rosemond’s lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, told the Daily News. “Dexter Isaac is not claiming this 17 years later to clear his conscience. He’s doing it because he’s told anybody who will listen he doesn’t want to die in prison. He has kids and wants to work off his sentence. He can’t be trusted.”

According to Lichtman, Rosemond, who is currently on the lam, is wanted on a federal fugitive warrant due to an indictment in a case that includes narcotics charges.

And while the NYPD is currently investigating Isaac’s claims, Rosemond has a new legal problem to contend with.

The Smoking Gun reported June 16, that two men tied to Rosemond have been charged with the September 2009 murder of former 50 Cent associate, Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher.

Investigators believe that the murder was an act of revenge, orchestrated by Rosemond after Fletcher attacked Rosemond’s 14-year-old sontwo years earlier.

According to the report, in March 2007, as Rosemond’s son was on his way to his father’s Czar Entertainment offices, which are across the street from 50 Cent’s management firm, he was struck in the head by Fletcher after the man spotted him wearing a T-shirt with a Czar Entertainment logo on it.

At the time of the attack, 50 Cent was in a heated battle with his former protégé, Game, who was managed by Rosemond’s company.

Fletcher pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child and was sentenced to nine months in prison, which ran concurrent with unrelated narcotics charges. G-Unit member

Tony Yayo, who was also involved in the incident, copped a plea to harassing the boy.

Two weeks after being paroled in mid-September 2009, Fletcher was gunned down around 9:30 p.m. on a quiet Bronx street.

Now, in a superseding indictment, federal prosecutors are charging Rodney Johnson and Brian McCleod with Fletcher’s murder, claiming that Johnson orchestrated the killing and that McCleod agreed to carry out the murder in exchange for drugs. Prosecutors have not charged Rosemond with the murder.

However, the two are also being charged for drug trafficking in a ring that moved cocaine from Los Angeles to New York and is believed by DEA agents to have been run by Rosemond.

If things get any worse for Rosemond, he may just end up behind bars with Isaac.
