Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh and Trina will be honored at the All-Star Music Experience in New Orleans

Rap legends Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, Trina and Erick Sermon will be honored at the All-Star Music Experience during NBA All-Star weekend at the Federal Ballroom in New Orleans. The All Star Music Experience will kick-off on Feb. 14 and wrap up on Feb. 16.


During the three-day event, hip-hop legends Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, Trina and Erick Sermon will be awarded at the Lifetime Achievement Presentation Dinner.


Also, a series of exciting informational panels will feature celebrity DJs, Producers, Radio Personalities and Music Executives. Attendees  include platinum producer Drumma Boy, Erick Sermon, KLC, Luney Tunez, Play-N-Skillz, Zaytoven, The Legendary Kid Capri, Bigga Rankin (Cool Running DJs), DJ Demp (Core DJs), DJ Krunch One (Street Connect DJs), DJ Mars, DJ Nasty (Miami’s 99 Jamz), Nina 9 (SiriusXM), K Foxx (Miami’s 103.5 The Beat), DJ Bay Bay (Dallas’ KKDA K104), Wild Wayne (New Orleans’ Q93), DJ OO Kee (Columbus, Georgia’s Foxie 105), Mar Brown (Atlantic Records), Eric Parler (Island Def Jam), Ron Stewart (Atlantic Records), Gary “Bolo” Sargeant (Columbia Records), Vashon “Rap” Straws(Universal/Republic Records) and Troy Marshall (Brand X Networks). The All Star Music Experience, produced by MP3Waxx.com and VirDIKO.com, will also feature a glamorous red carpet event dubbed “The Official Players Ball” hosted by pro basketball Superstars Gary Payton and Paul George, and starring a live performance by Slick Rick.
