Dr. Belinda Brown-Saddler has been practicing medicine for over 20 years and joined Piedmont Healthcare in 2005. She received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and completed her internship and residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Department of Family Practice. Prior to joining Piedmont, she was active duty in the United States Navy and served as a physician at the Naval Ambulatory Care Center in Groton, Connecticut. During her time there, she had hospital privileges and rounded on patients of all ages at ages at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut and Lawrence Memorial Hospital in New London, Connecticut. She was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Commander after serving 4 years of active duty.
Dr. Brown-Saddler is known for her warm personality and her belief in caring for the whole person – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She is excited about participating in a new Piedmont program where she has the time to focus more intently on her patients’ long-term health and wellness.
In her spare time, Dr. Brown-Saddler enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is also a fitness enthusiast who enjoys boot camps and spin classes as well as outdoor activities.
