Since 1996, the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art has distinguished itself as the only museum in the nation that emphasizes art by and about women of the African Diaspora. It has become recognized for its visionary leadership and for expanding the exhibition offerings in Atlanta, the region, and beyond.
