Cee Lo Green Accused of Drugging, Raping Woman

The woman who accuses Cee Lo Green of raping her after slipping a drug in her drink secretly recorded the conversation in which Green admits doing so, the media reports.

According to the woman’s affidavit, Green took her to a restaurant in downtown Los Angeles in July. She says after they had a drink, she failed to remember anything after that. The next thing the woman knows, she wakes naked in a bed and Green is in the room with her, according to her testimony. She says she immediately went to law enforcement officials to report the sexual assault, tmz.com reports.

Green denies any sexual assault as well as admitting that he slipped anything in the woman’s drink.

Sources close to the entertainment blog said the LAPD detectives had the woman make a “pretext call,”  in which someone baits the other party into acknowledging a crime or other misdeed. The call was recorded

Green is on tape, repeatedly apologizing and referencing MDMA (Ecstasy), though he does not specifically say he put it in her drink, says the Hollywood Gossip. Sources say Cee Lo told her he thought the drug would help them “have an exciting time together.”

Cee Lo’s camp denies the claim, saying if the tape contained such admissions Green would have already been arrested.

LAPD  detectives went to the restaurant last week to determine if employees saw anything unusual between Cee Lo and the woman.  They will refer the matter to the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office when the investigation is completed.
