Cissy Houston Slams Rihanna's Reported Role in Whitney Biopic: 'Over My Dead Body'

Cissy Houston is reportedly not pleased with reports that Rihanna could play her daughter Whitney Houston in a biopic.

The Houston family matriarch is said to be disgusted by reports that the Bajan singer could take on the coveted role and a source tells the National Enquirer it’s because of the pop star’s lifestyle.

“Cissy believes Rihanna celebrates everything she hated about Whitney’s life — the drugging, the boxing, the abusive relationship.”“Cissy does not think Whitney should be represented by someone like Rihanna,” the source said.

“In spite of what anyone thought about Whitney, she sees her as a God-fearing Christian who loved the Lord.”

The NE also reports that Cissy is against a movie without family involvement because it may focus too much on the “negative aspects of her daughter’s life.”

Cissy is said to be insistent on approving the actress for the role and is certain that Rihanna would not be on the list.
