more style, less substance
Looks
aren’t everything . at least that’s what they tell us. But for some
cars, that’s precisely the case. So this week, we highlight three cars
that are just so cosmetically fly, that you almost don’t care about the
other “more important” internal features.
Hummer H2
Not everyone readily gravitates to the style of the H2, but few can
deny its gaudy sex appeal. As it looms over every adjacent car, the H2
plays its position as a car that gives one stature . and not
necessarily efficiency, be it gas or maintenance. MSRP: $54,110
Jaguar X-Type
Jaguar has always held its own in the marketplace because of its
penchant for creating incredibly seductive vehicles. The X-Type follows
suit as from front to back, it oozes opulence and sophistication. While
there are no major flaws with the X-Type, it does falls short of its
competitors like the BMW 330 and Acura TL. MSRP: $34,330 – $39,330
MINI Cooper
The nostalgic MINI Cooper has been a hot product ever since it
resurfaced on the market. Trendy hipsters and cool city slicksters all
agreed that this was the “It” car when you wanted to make a bold
statement on concrete. But when it comes to the actual driving
experience, the MINI falls well below the mark. MSRP: $18,050 – $25,400
