“FRANK TV” is a television show featuring Frank Caliendo, whom Variety named oneof 10 comics to watch in 2007. The comedy pioneer has performed on both “Fox NFL Sunday” and “MadTV.” His presence on YouTube and MySpace have created “The Caliendo Effect,” a coinage for a shift from traditional entertainment outlets to the Internet. TBS’ “FRANK TV” will feature the comedian riffing on various aspects of modern society in a combination of stand-up pieces and sketches shot before a live audience.
