As co-host of the nationally syndicated radio talk show Auto Scoop,
Joyce Littel has developed an undeniable bond with her listeners
exercising a consistent pattern of excellence.
“I think the biggest thing that I’ve learned
is to maintain consistency in my programming and my personality.
Don’t change what people expect. I’ve maintained the mean
and that’s what has been successful. I know when people turn any
of us on they know what to expect and you keep defining it, you
don’t have to re-invent it you just have to color it up a little
bit,” explains Littel.
As founder of The Joyce Littel Sisters Foundation and CEO of
the media company Little Concepts, Littel has built a connection with
communities through her charitable efforts while tying in her
appreciation for poetry and spoken word. Now taking the innovative
stage production Passion & Poetry: Desire to Charlotte’s
Oven’s Auditorium, Littel wants her Queen City audience to enjoy
a night filled with Broadway inspired performances from some of the
world’s most renowned poets.
“When you’re really passionate and interested in
something you give it all you got, so I found different little areas
that I enjoyed that I felt like the city could be more introduced to
from the poetry aspect and from the relationship aspect. I just found
what my niche was given the opportunities that I was given,” adds
Littel. For a night of sensuous music and poetry with a playful
atmosphere for couples and singles, be sure to check out Passion & Poetry: Desire Saturday, December 1. –jason thompson
