Celebrities Share What Fatherhood Means

Fatherhood
is one of the cornerstones of our society. The role of a father in
shaping a young boy or girl’s life cannot be overstated. Sadly, too

contrary to popular perception, black fatherhood is alive and well. As
we prepare to celebrate another Father’s Day, here’s what a few celebs
had to say about the joys of being a dad. –dusty culpepper

“To me, fatherhood means being superdad. Being there for your daughter
or son anytime they need you or they’re in a function. Show them that
you care and show them the ropes. Just be there for them, 130 percent.”

“Fatherhood means a lot to me. I love my son and daughter dearly and
I’m a product of growing up in a mother/father household and I see the
benefits of having a father figure. I’m here to be supportive and let
them know that daddy loves them.”
