Janet Jackson Resumes Her Tour after Illness

Superstar Janet Jackson finally ended the speculation over what interrupted her highly anticipated “Rock Witchu” Tour. The 42-year old superstar was scheduled to resume her tour Wednesday night at the Verizon Center in Washington, she was sidelined with a bout of migraine-associated vertigo. The illness is characterized by dizziness, imbalance and other associated symptoms and Janet is still being treated.Jackson’s manager, Kenneth Crear, issued this statement:“She’s a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans the show they expect; she’s feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again to finish the tour.” This is her first major tour in seven years, as she seeks to reclaim her status as a top-earning act on the road, and she will soon announce new dates for the shows that were postponed. She has upcoming shows in Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, New York and East Rutherford, N.J. – todd williams
