Love him or hate him, T-Pain knows how to make a hit. His third installment, the circus-y Thr33 Ringz doesn’t deviate from the radio-friendly path he’s been on since his first album dropped a couple of years ago. This go-round, however, T-Pain has a few things to get off his chest, mainly pointing out all of the hating artists who complained about his numbing use of auto-tunes, then turned around and ill-advisedly incorporated them into their own music. The DJ Khaled-assisted “Karaoke” is his most blaring, finger-pointing session on the album. When the last track plays, Thr33 Ringz is exactly the sort of album that fans would expect from T-Pain — nothing more … nothing less. –jboogie
