It’s that time of year when you are most likely to host a party or a soiree for family and friends. Make your gathering a more memorable and festive occasion by making special holiday inspired cocktails to get your guests in the spirit. – roz edward


Bordeaux Lux


tis the season
1 1/2 ounces Ciroc vodka
1/2 ounce Marie Brizard Peach
1/2 ounce Marie Brizard Poire William
3/4 ounce Boiron Lychee puree
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/4 ounce simple syrup

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Strain into a chilled martini glass.


Pumpkin French 75

tis the season
1 ounce Bombay Gin
1 ounce Pumpkin Puree
1 1/2 ounces Fresh Lemon juice
1 1/2 ounces Simple Syrup
Korbel Champagne

Shake all ingredients (except Champagne) in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Strain the mixture into a Champagne flute.
Top with chilled Champagne and serve.


Thanksgiving Toast

1 ounce Bombay Gin
1/2 ounce canned cranberry sauce
1/2 ounce Ginger ale
Garnish: 3 roasted walnut halves, speared
cranberries or a sprig of rosemary

Shake vigorously with ice and strain into martini glass.
Add a float of ginger ale after straining.
Garnish with 3 roasted walnut halves, speared cranberries, or a sprig of rosemary


Cranberry Punch

tis the season
2 cups red wine
1 cup Ciroc Vodka
1/4 cup spiced Bacardi Rum
1/2 cup Ocean Spray Ruby Tangerine
Grapefruit Juice Drink, chilled
2 cups Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry
Raspberry Cranberry Juice Drink, chilled
1/2 cup green or red grapes, sliced in half
1/4 cup fresh cranberries
1 lemon, sliced
1 lime, sliced
1 orange, sliced
1 apple, sliced
1 cup sparkling water or club soda

Combine wine, vodka, spiced rum and juices in a punch bowl.
Add fruit and chill.
Add sparking water just before serving.
Makes approximately 10 5-ounce servings.
