The
invitation-only Bacardi Flavor Exchange event made its Detroit debut at
the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. The Exchange
event featured several cocktails and desserts using a variety of
flavored Bacardi rums. Partygoers, including former Detroit Piston
Derrick Coleman, packed the three Brazil, Paris and Monte Carlo-themed
rooms. Each staging featured its own DJ spinning everything from house
music to the latest hip-hop. Dancers mixed it up as live models posed
on pedestals with bottles of Bacardi. –roz edward
