blue toast
Don’t
let the recession depress you, especially during this season to be
jolly. Partying economically is actually an opportunity for you to put
the spotlight on what’s important … good cheer and good will;

Holiday Party Preparations
The Champagne Cocktail is one of the oldest known cocktails and one of the few that has retained its original name over the years. |
6 ounces
Korbel Champagne
1 sugar cube (1/2 teaspoon of sugar)
dash of bitters
Soak the sugar in the bitters for a few seconds. Put the cube
into the bottom of a flute glass, then pour the Champagne over it.
Usually garnished with a lemon twist. The standard bitters to use would
be Angostura bitters. Pretty much any liquor store would stock
these. They have a specific flavor, and only a single drop will add
flavor to your drink.

Invite
friends over for an open house where guests arrive at different times
during your soirée. By staggering the arrival times of your
guests, you won’t be overwhelmed with too many people at the same
time.
Keep drinks on ice in galvanized steel or plastic containers and use unique containers for a creative look.
Decor – Keep the Christmas decor simple and clean with white twinkling lights and a room all a glitter. | |

Aroma – The first sensation which will greet your guests is the aroma that wafts through your home or party space. Use pine or cinnamon scented candles for seasonal ambiance. |
Raise your glass and toast the occasion. It’s best to premix your cocktails so you can spend your time mingling.
To get into the spirit, skip the eggnog and warm the cockles of your loved ones’ hearts with these holiday cocktails …
