Studio Museum in Harlem This Harlem institution has free admission on Sundays as part of its Target Free Sundays program. Thanks to Target, Studio Museum offers free admission every Sunday between noon and 6 p.m., giving visitors access to exhibits such as the current “Barkley L. Brooklyn Museum
The Brooklyn Museum opens its doors every first Saturday of the month
for its Target First Saturdays program. From 5 p.m.–11 p.m.,
visitors can enjoy a host of activities, including panel discussions,
film screenings, live music and poetry before closing out the night
with its popular dance party. The program also provides a chance to
view the museum’s vast art collection, including its newest
exhibit, “The Black List Project,” which features portraits
of African American notables such as tennis star Serena Williams,
comedian Chris Rock and author Toni Morrison.
