On New Year’s Day, Oscar Grant III was murdered by a Bay Area Transit Officer. Grant was unarmed and handcuffed and later died. On Wednesday, angry citizens gathered in the streets of Oakland to protest the shooting, sparking a riot as they burned cars and smashed in windows of local businesses. Bay Area rapper and political/social activist, Mistah Fab spoke during the protest and witnessed the events first hand.
