“Lakeview Terrace” is an excellent character driven movie that pits a happy newlywed couple (Kerry Washington, Patrick Wilson) and a very unhappy neighbor (Samuel Jackson). What gives this movie the visceral punch it has is Samuel Jackson’s superb performance as the overly aggressive, bullying neighbor. The suspenseful build up in “Lakeview Terrace” is truly worth the price of admission. The only weak point in the movie is the ending which seems a little too pat.—dark abyss
