The man who invented mixing, returns with The Bridge, Grandmaster Flash’s first album since 1988’s On the Strength. This set is full of pleasant surprises; including the bouncy opener “Shine All Day” with Q-Tip, and the anthemic “Tribute to the Breakdancer” which features underground legend Supernatural shouting out to the most underappreciated sect of hip-hop culture.
