This guy, er, grandmother just gets better and better. Tyler Perry delivers again in this latest installment of the Madea franchise, punctuating the comedy with poignant moments. As always, Perry puts together a smashing ensemble cast (Keshia Knight Pulliam and Derek Luke turn in superb performances), who remain steadfast in their resolve to get Madea on the straight and narrow. The bong-toking Uncle Joe and the always colorful Brown are back to elevate the laughs. Perry’s coming-of-age as both a performer and director are evident, and the celebrity cameos are the icing on the cake. –roz edward
