Roary (John Savage) is an erstwhile sports star who is partially crippled due to a failed suicide attempt. After cheating death, Roary starts to spend some time in a bar in his neighborhood that draws offbeat characters. Roary befriends Jerry (David Morse), who works as a bartender in the joint. When Jerry starts playing basketball for the Golden State Warriors, Roary and his bar mates endeavor to help him live triumphantly. Richard Donner, who also directed Superman and the Lethal Weapon franchise, directed Inside Moves. This Oscar-nominated film will entertain those who have a liking for far-out types and human triumph stories.
