Dennis Quaid is one of the most underrated actors of his generation. The talented actor proves as much with his tortured performance in The Horsemen. If only the entire film were as strong and as solid as Quaid. From a heavy handed director, to a supporting cast incapable of maintaining Quaid’s pace, The Horsemen has all of the makings of a great movie — minus the execution. The film may be worth watching just to see Quaid at his best, but other than him, there is much to be desired. –dewayne rogers
