Synthesizer rocker Joe Zawinul has several notches in his belt — Weather Report artist and composer for Miles Davis among them. On 75, Zawinul and a bevy of great musicians from around the world serve up groove-oriented live jazz on two discs. The first disc is almost entirely made up of funky, very lengthy jams and the second disc includes more experimental stuff with a 14-minute plus version of “In a Silent Way.” Like fine wine, some musicians get better with time. –forrest green III
