Making a soundtrack for a film like Fast & Furious shouldn’t be hard — a few bass-heavy tracks here, some up-tempo, racing-themed music there. On this offering from the film of the same name, things weren’t simple. While it features a few gems, including Busta Rhymes’s cruise-friendly “Go-Stro” and M.I.A. and Rye Rye’s frenetic “Bang,” for the most part, it’s more or less forgettable, thanks to five surprisingly uninspiring tracks from Pitbull. See the movie, skip the soundtrack.
