Jason Statham continues to speak to his loyal fan base with the latest installment of the Crank franchise. Coming off the surprise success of the original Crank flick released in 2006, this latest entry (Crank: High Voltage) finds Statham, along with directors Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine seeking to revive the excitement of the first film. They failed. Crank: High Voltage lacks just that … high voltage. There is no electricity between the cast members, nor is there any of the high-wattage energy that was present in the first film. In short, this film isn’t worth the price of admission. –dewayne rogers
