Funny woman Amy Poehler finally steps out of the shadows of both “Saturday Night Live” and partner-in-crime Tina Fey, to man the helm of her own NBC sitcom, “Parks and Recreation.” Shot using the same “mock-umentary” style camerawork as another NBC hit, “The Office,” the show allows Poehler to solidify her standing as one of the most talented comedic actors of her generation. While Poehler shines in the lead role, the similarities between this show and “The Office” make it difficult to grade it any higher. –dewayne rogers
