The 2009 Atlanta Business League’s Women of Vision Breakfast celebrated the achievements of businesswoman who have exhibited excellence in their respective fields. Since publishing the inaugural list in 1994, the ABL’s Top 100 Women of Vision have been the best and brightest in the metro Atlanta community; women who have attained senior level positions in their corporations, are top entrepreneurs in their industries, or have gained a tremendous amount of influence politically and culturally. “To be honored at home is such a blessing,” said Women’s Hall of Fame honoree Vicki Palmer. “For me, it is all about giving back.”

Taking place at the gorgeous Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta, and hosted by CNN anchorman T.J. Holmes, the 2009 Women of Vision Breakfast celebrated notable figures, such as Gloria Johnson Goins of Home Depot, and Jacqueline Welch of Turner Broadcasting System Inc. Gospel star Darwin Hobbs provided a rousing close to a truly inspiring event.

“It’s so special to see so many women doing high important tasks,” said Trumpet Awards founder Xernona Clayton. “Today was a great example of what we can do — and these women have set the bar pretty high!” –todd williams
