GS Boyz Moving the Crowd

GS Boyz want you to know one thing: they are not one-hit wonders. Sure, their hit dance song “Stanky Legg” is this year’s “Cupid Shuffle” for the teen set, but Prince Charming, Slizz, Marc D, Decory “DK” Kenner and Soufside are set on showing fans that they’re also good for 16 bars.

“People say we can’t rap and that the “Stanky Legg” has no lyrics to it,” says Marc D, before adding that the group has been together for nearly five years. “They think we’re one-hit wonders, but it’s funny. We know what we can do and when people say that, we’re really gonna show them what we can do.”

Yung Joc recognized game, and recently signed the group to his Swagg Team imprint (their album will be distributed through Swagg Team/Battery Records/Jive). Currently, the group is on a whirlwind press tour hyping their next single, “Booty Doo,” and they show no signs of slowing down. In fact, when they walked into ro’s Atlanta offices alongside their mentor-boss, Yung Joc, they were visibly tired. Even still, the Boyz, who hail from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, saved a little energy to show some ro staffers how to correctly do the stanky legg. Old folks, take note. –jh

How to do the Stanky Legg:

Step 1- Put your right leg out.

Step 2- Move your right leg in and out.

Step 3- Put a little wiggle to it.

Step 4- Do the Dougie with it. (Act as if you are rowing a boat above your head)

Step 5- Do the stanky leg!

Side note: You don’t have to make your face look “stank” to do the stanky leg.
