Bad Boy’s Cassie Joins the Nude Celebrity Party
“Cassie. Cassie. Cassie.”
That had to be the sentiment of family and friends once nude pictures of the model-turned-Bad Boy recording artist, Cassie surfaced on the Internet just days ago. While Twitter and gossip blogs were abuzz with the titillating news, Cassie decided to strike back with terse words for those that made light of her embarrassing moment.

“IT SEEMS THAT SOMEONE HAS HACKED INTO MY COMPUTER … THAT’S REAL FOUL AND EVIL. NOW STOP ACTING LIKE YOU HAVEN’T SEEN A TITTY BEFORE.”
I have to admit that she does have a point. We have all seen breasts … famous breasts at that. It seems that every other week some star has their phone hacked or a home video jacked and leaked to the cyber masses. So what’s the big deal? Off the top of my head, I can think of three other celebrities that have had their business (literally) all in the streets.
1. Ray J and Kim Kardashian
The sex tape that remains freshest in our memories is that of Ray J, and then unknown Kim Kardashian. The tape became an Internet hit and they both went on to land their own hit reality shows and become staples on the pop culture scene.
2. Eve
Eve was reduced to tears when a video leaked online showing her performing a sexual act. The 30-second video exposes the rapper and then boyfriend, producer Stevie J using a sex toy on a tape that was dated November 20, 1999. Seeing as how the taped leaked in 2005, you can understand why Eve was so upset.
3. Vida Guerra
Just a video model at the time, who could forget when Vida Guerra’s phone was hacked into and explicit pictures of her were leaked online? While embarrassed by the revelation, Guerra enjoyed a modest spike in her popularity. Although the public’s interest has since waned, the pictures will still live on in our hearts.
The bottomline: Perhaps we should all give Cassie a break. I can only imagine how I would feel if a loved one had embarrassing pictures leaked of them online. But celebrities should also be more conscientious in making decisions. If there is anything that might embarrass them if it came to light, then maybe they ought not do it.
