This mixtape featuring DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia is a whole mess of fun — despite the sometimes trite subject matter. The snippets of songs from DJ Paul’s Scale-A-Ton album are brief and crisp, loaded with interesting sounds and Paul’s characteristic boastful vocals. The last 10 minute-plus track is a rant using distorted vocals specifically designed to appeal to true hip-hop fans. All in all, this is a good installment of Scream’s popular series featuring an undisputed veteran. –forrest green III
