Beyoncé – Ok, so Beyonce has had some very, very questionable performance moments in her past that almost landed her on the crass side of this list. But for every time she shakes her booty in videos like “Single Ladies,” or sings about how her lover’s er, ego, won’t fit because it’s too big, she’ll bounce back with the uber-nice “Halo” or “If I Were a Boy,” keeping her clean … just barely.
Maxwell – Yep, this is the same guy who made his debut in “Til The Cops Come Knockin’” by slithering around like a horny snake on a hotel room floor . But since that time, Maxwell has more than made up for his bad boy behavior with sweet classics like “This Woman’s Work” and sexy but classy performances like his latest at the BET Awards.
Amerie – Amerie has always been sexy, but she has never really gone overboard with it. Her videos always feature her wearing little, short dresses with a lot of hair blowing in the wind, making her all the sexier.
Crass
Elektric Red – This group of ladies is fierce, no doubt, but they also have the propensity to get a little X-Rated. Case and point: dancing in the bathroom stalls at a club. These chicks have no problem getting down and dirty, and we get the feeling they’re just fine with that.
Spectacular of Pretty Ricky- Any dude that wears speedos is just plain wrong. Any dude that challenges other dudes to a dance-off while wearing speedos has clearly passed the point of no return.
Ciara- Back when Ciara was still hiding the “goodies” she was cute and sexy. Then she hopped on top a car with Ludacris and started gyrating suggestively. We flinched but still labeled Ciara a good girl. Then came the nude Vibe cover and not long after, a porno-esque video (“Love Sex Magic”) with the master of turning good girls bad, Justin Timberlake. C-C is officially crass, but we’re saving hope that she’ll make it back to the other side.
