Warren Ballentine, radio host and CNN commentator gives tips on how to raise a male champion:
Teaching starts in the womb
From conception, start reading to your child. Your child can hear
everything in the womb. Teach him he’s a king and teach him that his
mother is a queen.
Keep the lines of communication open
Real men can communicate. Always encourage your male child to verbally
express themselves to help them learn how to effectively communicate.
Men make men
Keep a positive male figure in your male child’s life. It doesn’t have
to be his father if his father is not there. Go look for a minister, a
coach, a cousin or an uncle, but show him another man because it takes
a man to teach a boy how to be a man.
Acknowledge the Higher Power
Make sure your child knows the love of God. If your child has a moral
and Christian base, the champion inside will come through, no matter
what.
