‘House of Payne’ Star Lance Gross Keeps It Hot For The Small Screen

Lance Gross

When discussing “House of Payne” star Lance
Gross, it’s a good practice to begin by stating the obvious: Women find
him hot. So hot in fact, that it was a foregone conclusion that the Las
Vegas native would be added to rolling out’s “Hot & Sexy” list.

Since Gross is a huge fan of technology (Twitter.com/lancegross) we
decided to conduct our interview through an e-chat. Here’s the
evidence.

Is the passion that motivates you today the same passion that pushed you into this career?
Of course! If not heightened! I love what I do and couldn’t imagine
doing anything else. I’m living a dream that keeps getting better. You
have to be passionate about what you do if you are truly in love with
it.

You have been chosen by our publication as one of the nation’s hottest
people and sexiest within your field. Do you ever get uncomfortable
with the sex symbol label?

First off thank you very much! It’s always kind of weird to me. I used
to get picked on back in the day for the same things I’m complimented
on today. (My smile and my complexion.) I guess it shows me just how
far I’ve come. I always keep in mind that for the bunch of people who
find you attractive, there’s a handful somewhere who find you
unattractive … LOL.

Define one non-physical quality that you find attractive either in yourself or in other people.
I would have to say confidence. It can take you very far — both in your
career and personal life. As far as the entertainment industry, it
could be the deciding factor in landing your next gig. Directors want
to feel that you not only have the talent, but also the confidence to
create something fresh and new. As far as personal life, I’ve always
been attracted to women who exude confidence in what they do. … I find
the right amount of confidence very sexy.

Do you have an inspirational vitamin or daily motivational tools that keep you working hard and focused on your goals?

I have many! Two of my favorites are my vision boards, and the [Ross
Johnson] quote,‘ Realize that ultimate success comes from
opportunistic, bold moves which by definition, cannot be planned.’
