Rumor has it that singer Brandy has signed to Jay-Z’s Live Nation label, and that the hip-hop star has taken her under his wing as her manager. Brandy was spotted hanging out in New York City with Rihanna, Beyoncé and Jay-Z for Rihanna’s birthday. Brandy’s last album, Human, was released in December 2008 to mixed reviews.

Speaking of Rihanna, rumors persist that the singer is slated to star in the remake of Whitney Houston’s popular 1992 film, the Bodyguard, though nothing has been confirmed. Reportedly, the updated version would be a youthful, sexy take on the movie.
Christina Milian Says She’s Not Engaged to The-Dream
Christina Milian is denying rumors that she and The-Dream are engaged. The pop starlet is signed to The-Dream’s Radio Killa Records/Interscope/Myspace Records and has a new album, Elope, due out in April. “I really don’t have a lot to say about it…” the singer said via her Myspace page. “I think since I announced the title of my new album, Elope, these rumors seem to be looming around lately… It’s an album title and a title track. And to me Elope represents taking control of my life and being an adult making my own responsible decisions.”

Cee-lo Green and Janelle Monae have come together to work on a new project, “Open Happiness,” which is a collaboration between Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco and Gym Class Heroes. The song is written and produced by Butch Walker, co-written by Cee-Lo, remixed by Polow Da Don and features; Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy), Brendon Urie (Panic at the Disco), Travis McCoy (Gym Class Heroes), Cee-Lo Green and Janelle Monae.
