Claim to fame: Moore is a scriptwriter on the Comedy Central show “Chocolate News.”
Random fact: Moore played “obnoxious passenger” in the 2007 flick Near Miss.
What drew him to comedy:
“I’ve been funny for a long time. Maybe I was just born interested in
comedy. I won’t say that I was born doing it well, but I was born with
a curiosity for comedy and a desire to make people laugh.”
The source of his material: “I get my comedy from everywhere … everyday life, newspapers and magazines. I always have my eyes and ears open.”
The experience of working on “Chocolate News”: “It’s
a very fun experience. David Alan Grier is great, he listens to all of
our ideas, and we come up with stuff together. I don’t have anything
negative to say about working on the show. It’s a lot of work, and we
work long hours, but it’s well worth it.”
Success secrets:
“Write constantly; perform constantly. Write everyday; perform everyday
… just work hard at it. There are no breaks, as far as resting. You
have to keep going, and keep pushing if you are really serious about
making it in this industry. It’s the people that are the most
dedicated, that really end up making a mark.”
