Nelly Teams with Ford Flex for a Customized Ride

Nelly
is more than a diamond selling rap artist, in the timeless words of
Jay-Z, he’s a business … man. Recently, Nelly unveiled his customized
2009 Ford Flex at the CIAA Tournament, held in Charlotte, N.C. Nelly,
who is also part owner of the NBA team, the Charlotte Bobcats, was
excited about his latest venture.
“I think it’s
important for you to maintain your image not only for endorsements, but
for yourself,” he says, adding that his new customized ride is
currently his favorite whip. “Your image is who you are and it’s what
you do. I think endorsements come along with it. If the endorsements
fit what you do and allow you to be yourself — then that’s the best.”
Currently, the rapper-actor can be seen on new episodes of “CSI: NY.”
He’s also promoting an upcoming album with his rap crew, the St.
Lunatics, and is working on developing a talk show.
“I’m about to bring that Arsenio Hall energy back!” he says.
