Branding Concierge, Spin Cycle Radio
Warning: Putting one’s entertainment career in the hands of Allan L. Cole Sr., will likely result in success. As a branding concierge for DJ Spinderella’s Spin Cycle Radio, Cole is responsible for guiding the careers of the legendary members of Salt-N-Pepa and many of today’s hottest and brightest stars. Through his tenure with both Columbia and J Records, Cole helped launch several No. 1 records for Alicia Keys, Jermaine Dupri and Jamie Foxx.
“I’m the creative difference maker. My passion for music is strong and I’m always looking at ways to work to influence and see what’s going to be the difference making situation to launch something,” says Cole, who boasts of having over 17 years in the industry.
“I think what makes an artist a legend is being true to themselves,” explains Cole. “Shakespeare said, ‘To thy own self be true …’ The essence of those artists that last, are those artists that are true to the game.”
Cole is currently planning the 2008 Spin Back Ladies Choice Tour, which stars DJ Spinderella and DJ Backside. – jason thompson
