Managing one of the hottest brands in entertainment is understandably demanding. But Roger Bobb, supervising producer for Tyler Perry Studios, knows just how to handle the demands of producing hit films and television shows.
Upon the launch of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, Bobb quipped, “No matter where you are or what state you find yourself in, you must find the humor in life … it is what gives us strength.”
That strength is at the core of Tyler Perry Studios’ success, and Bobb has been an integral link in the chain. Bobb has also been a vocal and active participant in the studio’s commitment to community.
“Tyler Perry Studios is a member of the community. We have [a] commitment to being involved in the betterment of [the community] as a whole. Any time we can get involved with any organization that truly benefits the community, we’re going to do so,” he explains. “It’s important to understand that when you do business in a particular location, your business is only as good as the people that you help within that community.”
If past performance is any indication, both the studio and the community are in good hands.
