T.I. – Paper Trail

They say if you back an animal into a corner, they go into survival mode. This is certainly the case with T.I. Although Tip has taken some criticism from longtime fans for releasing a couple of lyrically less than stellar albums, he’s back attacking the mic, hungry as ever. Starting the album off spitting “56 Barz” straight with no chaser, he addresses all the hate he’s been getting lately from other rappers. He continues to lash out on songs like “Every Chance I Get” and “I’m Illy,” returning to the borderline arrogant flow that fans came to know and love on earlier releases like I’m Serious and Trap Muzik. Paper Trail is definitely a breath of fresh air for the rap game and T.I. shows he’s much better off when he’s writing down his rhymes. -BigYO baby!
