Krave is ready. The latest protégés from hit maker Devyne Stephens; Chanel Ross, Jasmine “Jazzy” Kearse, and Shanquilla “Shan Q” Robinson are three Atlanta natives who are passionate and enthusiastic about pursuing their dreams; and with one of the industry’s biggest names helping to mold them, the girls are on the fast track to superstardom. But, they realize that it won’t come easy and their enthusiasm is matched only by their work ethic.

On working hard for success
Jazzy: It’s something about Atlanta and that Atlanta swag, and Devyne [comes] from the days when it was about sweating and going hard on stage. He helped TLC [and] Ciara, and he incorporated a lot of his ideas into their choreography. We sweat in rehearsals. Literally from 8 [a.m.] until one in the morning, we are rehearsing and Devyne will not let us leave! Our show is about hard, hard work. We’re gonna make you sweat.
On being compared to TLC
Chanel: A lot of people do compare us to TLC and I think that’s [because of] the structure of the group — we’re two singers and a rapper. To be compared to them is an honor, but we’re trying to do something to make our own mark. Those are big shoes to fill. Tionne [T-Boz] Watkins actually came out to our show! We love TLC, [and] they were a big influence, [so] it’s an honor.
On building the group’s name
Shan Q: We’re doing a lot of shows, we’re on Twitter, we have a MySpace page and we’re recording and doing photo shoots — [and] consistently bettering ourselves. Born and raised [in] Atlanta, we started doing talent shows and showcases here. That’s where we met Devyne Stephens. We got into the studio and the chemistry was crazy. We’re very happy.
