So they stumbled upon “FlashForward,” a captivating investigation into an interesting narrative—the entire world blacks out for 2 minutes, 17 seconds, and almost all experience a vision of what happens in their life on April 29, 2010. While government agencies work to discover the source of this occurrence, a tantalizing web of intrigue is spun, keeping you glued to the television set and antsy until the next episode. The beauty of this show is that unlike “Lost,” it actually enjoys giving you answers instead of just asking more questions. –dewayne rogers
