Apparently, Janet Jackson is dealing with the grief of the loss of her brother in more constructive ways than their father, Joe. It’s been confirmed Janet will get back on her grind and open for the 37th Annual American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 22 at the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles.
Miss Jackson (I guess I’m nasty) will sing a medley of her hit singles, coinciding with the release of her new album titled Number Ones, a compilation of her greatest hits.
“We’re thrilled about having Janet Jackson open this year’s show,” said the AMA’s producer, Larry Klein. “She is an incredibly dynamic performer and I think the audience will be excited to see what she has in store.”
The show will air live at 8 p.m. EST on ABC. –sly
