The competition among retailers to lure shoppers is sure to be fierce this year. Most of them have already leaked their Black Friday circulars to spur budget-conscious and early shoppers to take advantage of “for a limited time” or “while supplies last” deals. All are hoping to entice shoppers with their attractive sales and deep discounts on the biggest shopping day of the year.

Where can you find the best day after Thanksgiving bargains and door buster deals?


Target
Target introduces a sweet campaign: $3 Chefmate appliances including toasters, coffeemakers and sandwich makers, a Polaroid V 130 Camcorder for $39, and a Sony Blu-ray player for $129. Also, they’re offering a 50 percent discount on toys and children’s clothing and the lowest prices ever for GPS navigation systems and LCD HDTVs.

Walmart
With new safety measures in place, the nation’s largest retailer will be offering $300 laptop computers, $99 navigation devices and 100 toys for $10 or less. Online specials include the Nintendo DS Lite for $149 with a free accessories kit and an Indiana Jones game. Most stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day and remain open for 24 hours, allowing shoppers to form lines at merchandise displays for those must-have items. Sales start Friday at 5 a.m.


Best Buy
The popular source for electronics and appliances is offering an iPod nano with a free speaker system and a surprise gift card valued up to $1,000 for the first 25 early bird shoppers. Blu-ray movies will be available for as low as $7.99 and Wii games for $9.99.

Home Depot
The home improvement retailer is offering an over-the-range-microwave for $98, an Amana side-by-side refrigerator for $698 and an upright vacuum cleaner for only $28, among other budget-friendly deals.

Walgreens
Offering convenient access to pharmacy and health products, they have free with mail-in and after rebate offers for toiletries like the Right Guard deodorant, Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth Deodorant and Nivea for Men shave gel. The insanely popular Snuggie Fleece Blanket will be only $7.99, with a mail-in rebate offer.

Staples
Shoppers who shy away from big ticket brands can take advantage of the many after mail-in rebate offers like Coby’s 2GB MP3 player for $14.99, a 7-inch DVD player for only $49.99, free printers from Canon and HP with the purchase of any digital camera or desktop and laptop, respectively; GE’s free 4-Device Universal Remote Control and the Motorola H710 Bluetooth Headset for $39.99.
