First Lady Michelle Obama is more than simply the president’s wife. She is a mother and an attorney — an Ivy League graduate of both Harvard and Princeton Universities. These accomplishments, among others, make her the perfect life coach to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
NeNe Leakes is also the proud mother of two, and a devoted wife, who was raised in the south. Week after week she’s kept millions laughing as she turns her southern charm on and off. NeNe was the homegirl you wanted to hang out with, she’s funny and unapologetic.
First Lady’s advice to NeNe: Practice being a little more reserved and refine. There is a time and place for everything. Keep the private details of what’s going on in the bedroom undercover … we don’t want every one to know about the good thing.
Sherée Whitfield, a mother of three, juggles responsibilities in her home life while still managing a full social calendar. She is a successful business woman and recently launched her own clothing line “She by Sherée.” Whitfield is starting a new chapter in her life as a single mom and she’s looking to balance her entrepreneurial endeavors with her active social life.
First Lady’s advice to Sherée: Congratulations for standing on your own and still finding a means to support your family after the divorce. Learn how to cut loose and have a little fun.
Lisa Wu Hartwell is also the mother of three and a multi-tasker. With the help of her husband, she is able to manage several businesses successfully, while fulfilling her family obligations. Lisa is always on the move, she can easily be compared to the Energizer Bunny.
First Lady’s advice to Lisa: Slow down a bit and take time for yourself. Don’t focus all your energy on everyone else.
Kim Zolciak, the single mother of two, has worked diligently to become a country singer. Her boyfriend Big Poppa just happens to be legally married. The fact that Kim is dating a married man would be a huge problem for Mrs. Obama who takes marriage very seriously.
First Lady’s advice to Kim: Don’t date married men … you can do better. Also, smoking and all of the cosmetic surgeries and enhancements actually make you look older. You’re pretty without it.
The season’s newest “housewife” Kandi Burruss is a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and the single mother of a nine-year-old daughter. Out of all the housewives I think that Mrs. Obama would be most impressed by Kandi. She seems to have mastered the balance of having success and being a mother. She’s remained neutral for the most part and always showed class.
First Lady’s advice to Kandi: Thumbs up from the East Wing of the White House … job well done. –christian johnson
