Tiger Woods’ Wife to Leave Him After Christmas; Child Protective Svcs Investigates Home

tiger and elinElin Nordegren plans to leave Tiger Woods after the Christmas holiday season, despite the fact that Woods has taken a sabbatical from golf to save the marriage, media reports state. Fanning the flames of the rumored divorce are US magazine pictures showing Nordegren in public without her wedding ring.

In related news, the Florida Department of Children and Families paid a visit to the Woods’ Windermere, Fla., home after highly publicized allegations of a violent domestic dispute that culminated in the now-famous low-speed car crash the day after Thanksgiving. It is routine for investigators from Child Protective Services to investigate a home after a reported physical dispute to ensure the safety of the children.

As the number of alleged mistresses climbs into the high teens, coupled with convincing allegations mount that Woods frequently patronized upscale escort services, reports of Nordegren’s departure grows. Nordegren, 29, was pictured pumping her own gas at a gas station the other day, sans her wedding ring. The couple have already purchased an extremely secluded five-bedroom island home off the coast of Sweden that is only accessible by a 45-minute boat ride from the mainland. But it is unclear if the home is in Nordegren’s name alone.

All of this comes amid widely circulated reports of an illegitimate child, abortions and nude photos of Woods, 33. To make matter much worse, the New York Daily News has unveiled an interview showing Woods boasting his All-American family man credentials — one day before the sex scandal broke and tales of rampant infidelity saturated the airwaves.

“Family first, then golf second — always been like that?” interviewer Murray Deaker asked.

“Always,” Tiger said in response.
